Finally, winter is coming to an end! It’s crazy to think that it’s already been a month on my new team :0
Dance Practice
I filmed quite a number of covers in February. I’m still waiting for them to be released, but in the meantime, I am practicing for more covers 🙂
Figure Skating
I started taking figure skating lessons! I finally got my scratch spin, but it still needs a bit of practice to keep it consistent.
Some skills I’ve been working on:
- Loop Jump
- Back Scratch Spin
- Edge Work
- Alysa Liu’s Stateside Choreo lol
I also got to watch Disney on Ice with my friend and it was really cool! They had Inside Out, Moana 2, Frozen, Encanto, Zootopia, and a bunch of other Disney/Pixar characters skate on the ice!
Tutoring
I was able to get some sessions in so I have been tutoring some students! It’s been mostly Elementary and Middle School math, but I am enjoying it so far!
Volunteering
I gave a tour of my office to a group of Lehigh Students that came to Boston for the Harvard WeCode conference. It was fun providing them with the tour and letting them know of upcoming opportunities!
Trip to LA
I spent a week in LA to see friends and family for my brother’s birthday and Lunar New Years! It was also a great break from the freezing temperature in Boston. I also got to eat such great food! In my opinion, LA food > Boston food.
Friends
My college friend visited me in Boston! It was super fun, we shopped around Newbury St and ate some good food!
Another friend invited me to a Superbowl watch party and that was super fun as well. I’m not an avid football watcher, but it was cool watching this year’s Superbowl.
That’s it for the month of February! I’m hoping with the weather finally warming up, March will be a fun month!
