Week 20 was Thanksgiving week so I just did some adulting things and ran some errands. Week 21 was back to work and getting lots of work done! It was nice coming back to work after a relaxing break.

Dance Practice
Still prepping for the performance on 12/13!
Figure Skating
As its winter now, the rinks in Boston are open!! I’ve been skating at least once a week and its been so fun! I love just skating around and being able to learn new skills and retain my existing skills that I used to have as a kid.
I can’t wait to do more of it w/ friends as well this winter :0
Tutoring
As the semester is wrapping up, this upcoming week is my last week of tutoring!! Even though I had a pretty difficult semester, I do still love tutoring. I’m going to seek out for more various tutoring opportunities, but in-person instead. Online tutoring just makes everything 10 times more difficult…
Cooking/Baking
I’ve been cooking and baking a lot these past two weeks!
I’ve been making some korean banchans and bought a lot of kitchen supplies to make sure I don’t waste food as well. I invested in a vacuum sealer and souper cubes to prevent my leftovers from going to waste! I don’t have any speciality recipes that I made these past two weeks but I’ve been eating really well 🙂
As for baking, I baked cinnamon rolls from scratch for Friendsgiving! I followed the recipe attached below. I did do a double rise instead of the said single rise in the listed recipe since I did have time to do an extra rise.
Adulting
As the year is wrapping up, I’ve had to think about taxes, my savings, investments, my spendings, etc etc.
In short, I spend too much haha. I’m on a “No Spend December (except for necessities)” challenge. I have already failed miserably, but just being aware of how much I’m spending a month is really helping me stay in the correct headspace. It’s especially tempting because the holidays are coming up, but I know with the people I’ve surrounded myself with, they would all be fine with one skipped Christmas gift. I’m going to try to be creative and figure out some other affordable method to show that I care without breaking the bank.
That’s it for Week 20 & 21! I’ll be posting on a more biweekly basis from now on so look forward to Week 22 & 23!
