Week 17&18: Life of a Software Engineer but 5-9

The pace at work is picking up a bit, but it’s still pretty manageable! I’ve been traveling quite a bit this past week!

Dance

Good news, bad news… One of the dances I wanted to do is on hold due to scheduling issues… Good news, I filmed my first cover with Modu Dance Crew! I’ll definitely hyperlink it once the video is out!

I also went back to my college town to watch their biannual performance, Fusion, and I was so happy to see my friends and previous eboard members put together a breathtaking stage! JM performed so well with their eerie theme, and I really enjoyed watching JM live for the first time. I shed a few tears watching them and knowing how much work went into their performance since I’ve been on eboard before.

Eating Out/Cooking

I’ve eaten out a lot this past week. Maybe too much haha. For that reason I also don’t remember everywhere I’ve eaten out at but here are some standouts:

  • CM Chicken @ Philadelphia – Korean Fried Chicken (Onion and Garlic Spicy) 5/5 stars
  • Siam House @ DC – Tom Yum Noodle Soup 4/5 stars
  • Teaism @ DC – Classic Bubble Tea and Hojicha Affogato 5/5 stars

Cooking wise, I’ve started cooking more Korean food since I’ve been getting sick of pasta.

  • Kalguksoo (Korean Knife Cut Noodles)
  • Japanese Curry w/ Rice or Glass Noodles
  • Rabbokki (Tteokbokki w/ instant ramen added)
  • Korean Kimchi Pork Stew

Tutoring

I didn’t have to tutor last week so it was pretty chill, and the week before wasn’t too bad either 🙂

Gaming

I am continuing to play SuperStar JYP and am playing some other random mobile games like Word Associate Solitaire.

Traveling again pt 1

I didn’t travel week 17, I messed up my blog schedule for that but that’s ok… I needed that week off to just relax, be home, and just stay indoors during the chilly/rainy week.

Week 18, I went to Philadelphia and my college town. This past weekend, I was in DC for the first time and met up with one of my Liberty intern friends from last summer! It was a nice small city and I hope to come back to visit during the cherry blossom season! I had some great Thai food and boba thanks to her recommendation 🙂

I can’t wait for the weekend and to be back home! I love traveling but not at this pace haha. I need a break from it. I’m also finally taking my first PTO next week and just resting up and hibernating during Thanksgiving week so I’m looking forward to that 🙂 Week 20 blog may or may not be posted depending on if I actually hibernate or not haha.
