Week 3: Life of a Software but 5-9

Apologize for the delayed post! Wifi was down during the day 😦

This week was rough at work so I did a lot outside of work to relieve some stress. Not that the work was hard, waking up for work felt extra difficult this week.

Dance

I’ve been getting back into Kpop Dancing. I learned Style by Hearts2Hearts today with a fellow college friend and JM Ent (my college kpop club) member and learned Jump by Blackpink last Sunday! I ended up rescheduling the ballet lesson I was supposed to take because I couldn’t wake up early enough 😛

I’ve also tried freestyle dance this week at home but it’s definitely something that I need to get used to/get better at for me to enjoy spending time on it.

Python

I started #30NitesOfCode through Codedex and have been learning Python. To be honest, I am not very consistent and my longest streak is only 2 days, but it’s a start, and that’s what matters.

Watching Shows

I binge watched The Good Doctor S6 after my work day on Friday till like 6am haha. Note: I have not watched any other season lol

Friends

I think nearly everyday this week after work, I’ve been calling up my college friends to catch up with them. I’d be on 2+ hrs on FaceTime with my friends and it’s been a huge stress relief from work.

Eating Out/Cooking

It was the first week where I actually tried new restaurants in Boston that aren’t available anywhere else. Thai Basil on Newbury St gets a 3.5/5 from me and Gaju Tofu House in Allston gets a 4/5 from me.

I usually cook the food I eat and try to expand my cooking abilities so that I can cook more dishes. This week, I made a variety of dishes from Korean Kimchi Tuna Stew to Pesto Mushroom & Garlic Spaghetti to the most generic Turkey Avocado Sandwich. Should I post my food recipes (most are available online, but some dishes like Korean dishes are in default Korean so ig I could translate the recipe) ? Like below if I should 🙂

Getting Mail/Packages

Maybe some people can relate to the dopamine rush of seeing Amazon packages at the door and unpacking them and tbh, I’m no different. I splurged a little and bought a new backpack to prep for the bipolar weather of Boston since my umbrella broke and my backpack is no longer water resistant. But besides packages, I’ve also been flooded with letter mail from my company, and even though it’s boring mail (just basic benefits stuff), it still makes me happy to open them lol.

Look forward to my next post next Saturday 8/9!
