Post-grad life – July 2025 Edition vol. 1

It’s July! Aka, the month I start working!!

Merch Store

Something I learned in my Entrepreneurship classes at Lehigh is to just start putting something out there. Many people can create a billionaire idea, but very few act upon it or release it to the public. So, I’m releasing my merch store! It’ll be viewable from my website under the “Support Me” tab: https://angela-cui.printify.me/

I’m starting with just a few t-shirts, but eventually, I’ll create more products as I am able, to test samples.

Amazon Affiliate

I have finally finished reading Atomic Habits… Crazy it took me this long… Seeing how long it took me to finish one book, I started implementing a habit for myself based on my takeaways from the book. Make it easy, I started reading for 10 minutes everyday, if I miss a day, I make it up to do 20 minutes, but I never miss two days in a row. I started this habit with my younger brother to help him start this habit at a young age as well.

I’ll be releasing a more comprehensive book review in the next day or so, but if you can’t wait for that, check out the book for yourself: https://amzn.to/4iRuUWE

Other Side Hustles

Once I start my SWE job, I will create a paid blog subscription series for those interested in the bits and pieces of what it’s like to work as a software engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance. A more generalized/vague “life of a software engineer” will be available for free on my usual blog.

To ensure accessibility since this type of content is targeted towards students or early career people interested in SWE, the paid plan will start at just $1/month with a pay what you want plan as well, if you’d like to support me further!

Personal Finance

I have been watching waaay too much Personal Finance content haha. I am trying to take it back a little, but Caleb Hammer’s Financial Audit series is a bit too entertaining for me to stop. The Money Guy’s content have also been extremely helpful, but I find myself looking a bit TOO far ahead, so I’m notching it down a bit for the sake of my screentime.

That’s it for me from the last two weeks! Look forward to my book review and a new blog series soon~
