Earlier this week, I was offered the opportunity to fly-into Goldman Sachs’ Dallas HQ by Rewriting the Code.

Here are some of my key takeaways:

• Have an open mind: being open to roles, even when you might not know anything about them, is a great learning opportunity
• Say yes to opportunities, especially early career: this is what makes you stand out for a promotion vs your coworker
• Speak up for what you want: especially during team matching, it’s important to tell the prospective team what you want so that you can achieve your own goals in an environment that works for you.
